Lâm Đồng Province


Lâm Đồng is a province located in the Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) region of Vietnam. Its capital is Dalat. Lâm Đồng borders Khánh Hòa Province and Ninh Thuận Province to the east, Đồng Nai Province to the southwest, Bình Thuận Province to the southeast, Đắk Lắk Province to the north, and Đắk Nông Province to the northwest. It is the only Central Highlands province which does not share its western border with Cambodia. The province has 10 districts and 2 provincial cities.
Economy...... The economy is based largely on agriculture, with tea, coffee and vegetables being the main agricultural products. Lâm Đồng Province is also famous for its main city - Đà Lạt, which is a base for tourism.
Tourism......Lâm Đồng attracted 3 million tourists in 2011. Tour operators are set up to arrange visits to the main attractions. These include: Cát Tiên National Park, Bidoup Núi Bà National Park, waterfalls: Cam Ly, Prenn, Datanla, etc., Langbiang mountain, Tuyen Lam lake, Thung Lung Tinh Yêu (love valley), Pren, Cát Tiên archaeological site and Linh Phuoc Pagoda. In Dalat the main attractions are the cathedral and King Bao Dai’s Summer Palace.
