This tour was conducted with restrictions on the amount of time I could allocate to traveling on this visit to Thailand. Productivity could not be anything close to my last visit at the end of last year. In addition, since I've been here, I've been suffering from hypertension which is almost certainly reduce my levels of energy and enthusiasm. Nevertheless, I have added another useful haul of site visits which I now have to work through to include on my website. No new provinces were added on this tour but most of the sites I visited were for the first time.
The furthest point reached on this tour was 711 kilometers meaning that well over 2000 kilometres were covered in total. The weather was generally hot with no rain, the conditions not particularly ideal for touring. An option would be under these conditions to stay longer in one place, Ban Krut for example instead of staying at six different locations of the seven nights away.
