The Rattanakosin Water Jar Factory which was established in 1972 now extends to 35,200 sq. metres and is responsible for the production of the famous dragon pattern water jar which is a signature product of Ratchaburi Province. The water jars are found all over Thailand often used to collect and store rain water. Visitors are free to walk around the factory and watch the skilled artisans at work. Examples of some of the finer work can be viewed and purchased in the factory shop.
