Songkhla Municipal Song Thale Park a lesser known park is a favourite for the locals to chill out in the evening. This park has more to see than the famous Simila Beach. The park contains a dragon sculpture looking out across the mouth of the Songkhla Lake and is the location of the Krom Luang Chumphon Monument and Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak Shrine. Located opposite is the Songkhla Aquarium.
