Tarihe Saygı Anıtı and the Respect for History Park

The memorial Tarihe Saygı Anıtı and the Respect for History Park near the ferry terminal are sombre reminders of the vicious Gallipoli Campaign fought between the Turks and the Allies in 1915. The open air museum contains life size figures of Turks and ANZACS in a state of trench warfare while a large model of the peninsula shows where the main battlelines were.
