National Highway 24 serves 5 provinces in Lower Isaan running roughly west to east. In the west it connects with the Mittraphap Road (National Highway 2) in Sikhio District in Nakhon Ratchasima province. It then runs east through three provinces in Lower Isaan, Buriram, Surin and Si Sa Ket then entering Ubon Ratchathani province in Thung Si Udom District. It terminates in the city of Ubon Ratchathani crossing the Mun River.
