Mae Pan Waterfall, Doi Inthanon National Park,
Chiang Mai Province

The Mae Pan Waterfall is an attractive waterfall on the Pan River, the highest waterfall in Chiang Mai province. It is quite difficult to reach requiring a trek across 500 metres of difficult terrain with scrub, rocks, boulders and fallen trees. However, with a refreshing rock pool at the base, it is most attractive to those who make the effort to reach it.
