Constructed for irrigation purposes, Kiu Lom Dam has a scenic reservoir suitable for boating or rafting. At least a half-day tour is suggested. Visitors may opt for staying overnight in a raft house. Places to see include cliffs, isles and fishing villages.

An overnight stay can be made in two ways:
1. Take a raft to stay at the Kio Lom Resort which offers bungalows on an island in the lake. Tel: 0 5422 3772, 0 5433 4393 (after 6pm).
2. Take a Wang Kaeo raft and stay overnight on it, or on the island off the Ko Wang Kaeo Resort. Tel: 054-223-733, 054-325-645, 089-854-1293.
Opening hours: 6am-6pm.

Getting there:
By Car: Take the Lampang-Ngao Road and turn left between Km. 623 and 624 for another 14 kilometers. sThe distance is 38 kilometers from town.
By Bus: Get on the bus at the Pratu Chai Bus Station. The bus arrives at the dam. A charter bus service is available from Amphoe Mueang Lampang.
