Located on a small hill (khao noi) southwest of Nan, Wat Prathat Khao Noi offers stunning views of the surrounding area including the city itself. It was founded in 1487 during the reign of Chao Phu Keng. Within the grounds of the temple is a small chedi (prathat) with a mix of Lanna and Burmese architecture containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha.
