The Old City Wall in Phrae, encloses the inner city. Extending some 2 km, the wall is more than 1,000 years old. Little of the old wall remains but its outline can be seen along Rop Mueang Alley on the eastern perimeter. Expect to pay a small fee at the care park but from here it is a pleasant stroll along the old ramparts white a section of the old moat has been preserved and turned over for recreation.
