Koh Poda island in Krabi is one of those little gems just off the coast of Krabi that’s easy to get to and totally worth a visit. It’s super close to Railay Beach West and Phra Nang Beach, which are both beautiful in their own right, but if you’re looking for a quick island escape, Ko Poda is your spot. Most people hit it up as part of the 4-Island Tour, but more simply, you can just hop on a long-tail boat from Ao Nang or Railay and be there in like 25 minutes. It’s the closest island to the mainland, and once you get there, you’re greeted by soft white sand, clear blue water, and those dramatic rock formations that Krabi is famous for. Boat operators use this island for snorkeling.
