Wat Somdet is located north of Sanhkhlaburi straddling the road on HWY 323. To the right looking north is the prayer hall but beyond that is the principal feature, the large housed golden Buddha image in the Phra Non (relining) posture. On the left of the road is a selection of Buddha images in different postures and three old chedis.
