The Victory Monument is a tall obelisk with military statues commemorating Thailand's victory in the Franco-Thai War. Today it is a busy transport hub for the skytrain, public buses and taxis. From here you could easily connect to almost anywhere in the country but the passenger van service has now been moved to Mochit bus terminal. Nearby there are shopping malls and street vendors.
