Ko Nang Yuan is a small island very close to Koh Tao. It is famous for its diving spots and its great snorkeling beach. Many day trippers come from the islands of Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Samui, as well as from Surat Thani and Chumphon on the Thai mainland. From Mae Haad Pier on Koh Tao there are long-tailed taxi boats to Koh Nangyuan or island trips which will allow a couple of hours stopover.
