The Krasiao Dam, built 1980, is the earth dam built to restore water from Kra Siao Stream. Its length is 4,250 meters and its height is 32.5 meters. The area to restore water is 28,750 rai (17.76 sq mi). The capacity of the dam is 240 million cubic meters. It is the longest earth dam in Thailand and a large fish breeding ground. It is also a tourist attraction that has beautiful scenery. Prior to the dam's construction fllods occured every year in Song Phi Nong District.
