Robin Hill Cable Car, Dalat, Central Highlands

The cable car, located on Robin Hill at an elevation of 1.517 m above sea level, is a 2.267-metre construction crossing a mountainous area of pine-tree forests to Phoenix mountain at an altitude of 1.490 metres. On this hill lies Truc Lam Zen Monastery built in peaceful surroundings.
The cable car system which was begun in 3rd February 2002, inaugurated in 24th January 2003 and officially put in operation on 1st February 2003 was designed and installed by Doppelmayr Inc. (Switzerland and Italy). The system with 50 automatically cabins has a capacity of 900 participation per hour. Therefore, visitors can cross the impressive Highland mountains and pine forests enjoying the cool fresh air of Dalat city.
