Trai Mat town lies about 6km to the east of Dalat as the end of a short section of railway, all that remains of a line opened in the 1930's. Most visitors use the line to reach Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Surrounded by polytunnels Trai Mat is not the most attractive place to visit in Vietnam suffering to a large extent from neglect.
