Tham Pa Pan, Phang Nga

Tham Pa Pan is a cave associated with a Buddhist temple of that name. This is a temple listed on the Phang Nga tour but the cave is unremarkable compared to the others. Unusually though you can enter the cave via a tunnel that has been constructed to look like the body of a Chinese dragon; you will enter through its mouth. Probably longer lasting in the memory is the garden where there are grotesque figures portraying heaven and hell that are not uncommon in Thailand's temples. For the squeamish it would be better to give this a miss.
