The Khao Thong Viewpoint consists of a layby with a pogoda for taking in magnificent views across Khao Luang National Park. In 2011 the Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province declared that Ban Khao Thong village in Lan Saka district was named as the place with the cleanest air in Thailand. According to the Pollution Control Department, who monitor the air quality, they found that the AQI is between 17-49 which is considered very good.
