Sichon district is one of the province's coastal districts facing the Gulf of Thailand. Neighbouring districts (from the south clockwise) being Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phrom Khiri, Nopphitam and Sichon. The best known beaches are Haad Khao Ply Dam and Haad Si Gao.
