I'm in the air as the day begins. The service on Eva Air is quite acceptable so far, and I manage around 4 hours of sleep. The hours and distance count down to an arrival in Bangkok around 3.30 p.m. local time, 30 minutes earlier than expected. Upon arrival, the weather is overcast but dry for the moment and warm. The arrival process takes longer than expected due to heavy footfall, but there are no issues.
The wait for Katoon at Gate 7 is brief as attention turns to dinner. I must admit I'm not really hungry, as the airline food was more than enough. Nevertheless, Katoon has plans.
Not far from the residence, a new food court has opened with the benefit of government subsidies. Pork ribs and tuna salad I wasn't expecting. It's really too much, but this is Thailand, right?
